David Mongeau

The Chairman and Founder of Avington, Mr Mongeau is recognised as one of the world's leading M&A practitioners and is a frequent speaker and moderator at leading real estate, hospitality and leisure conferences as well as a frequent commentator in the international financial press.

Until March 2005, Mr Mongeau was Vice-Chairman of a CIBC World Markets and Global Head of its M&A and Hospitality groups. Mr Mongeau spent more than seven years as a senior executive at Four Seasons Hotels in charge of international acquisitions and dispositions and as a member of the executive management committee.

Mr Mongeau is Vice-Chairman of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), Chairman of the Membership Committee, and a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors.
